The St Marys Football Club, formed in 1952 is a member club of the Northern Territory Football League, and is famous for its record of success, with over 25 NTFL premierships and producing talented players, particularly Indigenous Australian players for leagues such as the Australian Football League.
Many players from the Tiwi Islands Football League also play for the club.
The club has produced AFL players such as Michael Long, Scott Chisolm, Raphael Clarke and Peter Burgoyne.
