St James Metro station is a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro, in the west end of the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Being situated close to St James' Park, the stadium of Newcastle United F.C., the station provides travel to and from the match for thousands of fans.

The station, which opened in 1982, is one of termini of the Yellow line of the Metro system. The interior of the station is distinct, as the walls are decked out in black and white stripes (the colours of Newcastle United) and pictures of Newcastle United players and managers past and present.

Many panels in the station feature images of the adjacent St James' Park football stadium or former Newcastle United F.C. players. This is the view when from one of the escalators.
