St. George Area (also known as St. George District or St. George Region) is an unofficial name applied to a group of southern suburbs in Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The area includes all the suburbs in the local government areas of Hurstville, Rockdale and Kogarah.

It was one of the original parishes within Cumberland County. There were three other parishes named after saints; St. John, St. Luke and St. Matthew, but St. George is the only one of these which is widely known today.
