St Croix Recreation Park

The St Croix Recreation Park is located in St Croix, Nova Scotia consists of two softball diamonds adjacent to each other. The fields have been host of many National Softball Events like the 1998 & 2004 Canadian Sr Mens Fastpitch Championships, 2000 Canadian Midget Fastpitch Championship, Eastern Canadian Fastpitch Championships and countless Nova Scotia Provincial tournaments.
The main tenants of the park are the teams the represent the West Hants Thunder Minor Softball Association and other teams from the West Hants area that use the field for recreation leagues.
The field was also home to the Halifax-Windsor Keiths that played in the Coca Cola Senior Fastpitch League which played against there most notable rivals, the Brookfield Elks. The team disbanded after the 2004 Canadian Sr Mens Fastpitch Championships.
The largest crowd known to watch an event at the facility was approximately 5500 people. It was the championship game of the 1998 Canadian Sr Mens Faspitch Championship played between the Halifax-Windsor Keiths and the Halifax Jaguars, the Jaguars came out on top after a crucial homerun hit by Barry Wright.
