I changed some words individually so the article would look more as if an American or Englishman had written it, and be easier to read. I didn't try to translate the article's cultural attitudes - for one thing, I don't know enough about the college for such a major rewrite.

Striving for excellence should be admirable everywhere, even though it sounds a little funny here in America, even from a religious institution. But I distinguish striving for excellence from claims that excellence has already been achieved. The latter might be open to the criticism at this link: Wikipedia:Avoid peacock terms. I am a SJC alumni (a young one) and it's me who write the first draft of this page. I've done some major structural changes to this article recently and now I summarise them here:

1. I've subdivided the section History since the original one was a bit too long and affect reading efficiency. The same has been done to Curriculum and Staff.

2. I've put several things together to form new sections named Heritage and Josephians. This increases organisation of the article.

3. I've also grouped the previous Important events into the History section.

4. I've unified the style of the headings using the format recommended here

5. The format of date and year should be noted here. Therefore THE 80s was changed to 1980s.

6. Avoid peacocking: Wikipedia:Avoid peacock terms

7. School Colours was renmaed Mascot.

8. Simplifying the language and avoid circumlocation.

One question: who is Clase Ejecutiva listed in the alumni list (businessmen)?

9. Removed "Ryan Lee; ITQ Consecutive Winner" from the page to keep the Wikipedia standards. For personal achivements one can employ the userpage Kevin Lee 06:51, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm a Josephian too, and I've just changed certain language, adopting gender-neutral nouns like "athletes" instead of "sportsmen." - James

[edit] Latest modification

I am now reworking on this article (I drafted the first version of this page) which aims to increase the quality from the starter level up to B or even A grade.

I have rephrased the introduction of this article, which includes the information on mission statement and sponsoring body previously stated in individual sections.

I would like to have the main body of the article dividing into the following sections: History, Campus, Academics, Extra-curricular Activities, Heritage, Notable Alumni. Please comment on this. References are from featured school articles such as Caulfield Grammar School.

One more word. I have changed the phrase "the Schools" back to "the College" since the administration of the College and the affiliated Primary School and Kindergarten aren't really the same.Dubliner 20:11, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
