St. Ambrose College was a good article candidate, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. Once the objections listed below are addressed, the article can be renominated. You may also seek a review of the decision if you feel there was a mistake.

[edit] Failed GA

No lead, stubby paragraphs, no footnotes, very short, only covers math and computing, nothing on faculty or students, trivia section violates section 3b. Rlevse 13:50, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I removed the News and Trivia sections because they seem to be breeding grounds for non-Wiki crap. Submitters should both incorporate information into the general narrative of the history of the school, and source all of their "trivia". --Nufftin 14:05, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Users who edit this page generally go to this College. Therefore, it should be understood that they can be entrusted to document recent news and events concerning the College. All trivia can often be cited to the College's newspaper which is published each term.

[edit] Vandalism

The news and trivia sections should be removed because Wikiepdia is not really about curren events, nor is it a bulletin board, etc. Regarding trivia, certain editors, possibly but not necessarily students or alumni, have vandalized this page repeatedly. Therefore, rather thn applying the usual assumption of goodwill one must scrutinize everything that is here and chop out anything that might be suspect. Shaundakulbara 10:53, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
