St. Stephen's Episcopal School is a private, University-preparatory school affiliated with the Episcopal Church. The School is located at 315 41st Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34209. Saint Stephen's also offers a plethora of clubs such as, Key Club, The Author's Club (which will be defined further below), Photography Club, JSA Club, Nu Alpha Theta, Spanish Club, Drama Club, French Club, Latin Club, Jazz Band, Jewish Club, DDR Club, Runner's Club, Art Club, Ceramics Club, Prom Commitee.
The school should be taking a particular shine to The Author's Club because its quest to culture not only the student population but the falculty as well. So far, they have held a high school wide poetry and short story competition and had a small but amazing turn out. The club is open for anyone inside the high school to join and meets every Wednesday during lunch. During meetings the members read their poems and short stories and they share their critiques on them. They are currently trying to find a sponsor outside of school and will be the first club to do so in the new millenium.
