St. Martin's College Sixth Form

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On February 5, 2007, St. Martin's College Principal Ms. Bernie Mizzi announced that the College will have its own Sixth Form as of the scholastic year 2007-08. The plans to carry out the Sixth Form were taken after surveys with parents, students and also other schools.

Unlike the three existing Sixth Forms in Malta, which are free, students who want to enter St. Martin's College Sixth Form will have to pay Lm 2,300 per year with a one time Lm 100 registration fee. The college will accommodate a maximum of approximately 100 students, although the Sixth Form will not open unless there are more than 40 students that apply. It will form part of the secondary block. If successful, the Sixth Form might open its own wing in the future.[1]
