St. Leutwinus, Bishop of Treves

Leudwinus (St. Leudwinus, Leutwinus, Lievin, Liutwin). Bishop and Count of Trier, 697-715 or 685-704 Born circa 655; son of Guerin or Warinus, Count of Poitiers (638-677) or Paris, brother of Leodegar, Saint and Bishop of Autun. His mother was Kunza (or Gunzie), sister of Bazin or Basinus, Bishop of Trier. He married Willigarde of Bavaria, daughter of Theodon, Duke of Bavaria, and Folchaide of Salzburg. He died in 713 or 722, and was buried at Mettlach.

His daughter Rotrude of Treves married Charles Martel.
