St. Joseph's PU College

St. Joseph's College Institutions in Bangalore, India are managed by the members of the Society Of Jesus, a catholic religious order founded by St. Ignatius Loyola. They are generally identified as Jesuits.
The aims and objectives of the college educational system, other than imparting the academic requirements of teaching and study, include a pattern of training that will imbibe the basic values of humanity, tolerance, consistent work and a pursuit towards excellence in every field. In other words, the (Jesuit) aims and objectives are specially catered towards a holistic training of the personality in order to make them persons for others, for the society at large and for the country.
The members of the society of Jesus run several educational institutions all over the world. In our country a number of prominent educational institutions are run by them. St. Joseph's College, Bangalore, is managed by the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society (BJES) which also has a few others institutions of education at the school and collegiate level under its care. The BJES aims at executing the noble objectives of the Jesuit philosophy of education.
