St. John's High School, Ranchi

St. John's High School is a well known school in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. The school has in illustrious history, starting from year 1887. The school is situated at Purulia Road, and runs classes from class 1 to class 10.

The school is situated next to its sister institution St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. Both institutions are run by the Catholic church and provide affordable education to tribal and poor students. This is one of the leading school in Jharkhand . It is a Hindi medium school, which has a glorious history.

The school excels in Board exams conducted by Jharkhand School Examination Board. The students participate in co-curricular activities and excel in social work. The Wholistic Development society (established: 1990 by Bibhu Choudhary and Animesh Kumar) is instrumental in inculcating the spirit of social responsibility among all members of the school.
