St. Georges School, Birmingham

St. George's School, Edgbaston is an independent school in Birmingham, in the West Midlands, England. It opened in 1999, after merging between Edgbaston Church of England College for Girls and Edgbaston College. It is made up of four components; the montesorri nursery, Lower School, Upper School and Sixth Form.

The school had, in June 2006, 342 pupils on roll. The headmistress, Hilary Phillips, M.Sc (Hons.) has run the school since its merger in 1999. The Deputy Head, Russell Collier, B.Sc (Hons.), PGCE, has been in place since September 2005 and replaced Keith Bruce.
