St David's RC High School is a Roman Catholic secondary state school located at Cousland Road in Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland.

The school has a current roll of 841 pupils. 75% of St David's pupils come from associated Catholic primary schools in Midlothian and East Lothian.

St David's has a staff of 69 full time equivalent (FTE). There is a high level of experienced staff who have been at the school for a number of years and there is a below average staff turnover at the school.

Marian Docherty took up the post as Headteacher at St David's in early June 2003. She was formerly Headteacher at St Thomas of Aquin's in Edinburgh, from 1997 - 2003.

[edit] Move to New Campus

In October 2003, pupils and staff moved from their old school building in Abbey Road, which was built in the 1960's to the new school built as part of the Dalkeith Schools Community Campus, along with Dalkeith High School and Saltersgate Special School.
