St. Joseph's High School is located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram(Trivandrum) city in Kerala. It is one of the oldest school in the city. It was started by the Catholic diocesse and was later taken over by the Society of Jesus. The school was again handed over to the Thiruvananthapuram Catholic diocesse in 1998 by the Jesuits.

St.Joseph's School was upgraded to a Higher Secondary school in 1999.
