The SS-N-23 is a liquid propellant, submarine-launched ballistic missile in use by Russia. The SS-N-23 was designed for use by the Russian Delta IV submarine, each of which is capable of carrying 16 missiles. It carries four 100kT warhead and has a range of about 8,500 kilometers.
