SRM Engineering College

SRM Engineering College,now the SRM Institute of Science and Technology was an Engineering College located some 50 km from Chennai, South India. Previously functioning under the Anna University, the Institute gained the Deemed status in 2003-04.
SRM Engineering College was started by Pachaimuthu in memoriam of his mother Smt.Valliammai.[citation needed]
