Sriwijaya FC is an Indonesian football club based in Palembang, South Sumatra. They play in the top division of the Indonesian football league, the Liga Indonesia. Their home stadium is Jakabaring Stadium.

Sriwijaya FC has a slight nomadic history. The team was originally formed as Persijatim before shifting it's home base to Solo. During their time in Solo, the club renamed itself and was known as Solo FC. The club eventually decided to shift homebase again in 2004 to Palembang, South Sumatra and became known as Sriwijaya FC; a name they use until today.
