Sri Lankan settlements are communities established in lands belonging to Tamils with help of the Sri Lankan Government for Sinhalese occupants.

When the Indian Peace Keeping Forces were withdrawn from Sri Lanka, the Tamils homes were occupied by Sinhalese settlers. [1]
