Sri Lanka Telecom

Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) is the premier telecommunication service provider in Sri Lanka with more than one million business and residential subscribers, providing domestic and international voice, Internet and data services. SLT Corporation was formed in 1991 - it was Sri Lanka's first telecommunications company, and the successor to the formely government-owned Telecommunications Department. In 1997 Sri Lanka Telecom was privatised with the collaboration of Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corporation (NTT) of Japan. The company was awarded a AAA rating by Fitch Ratings Lanka followed by a BB- international rating by Fitch International and Standards & Poor's.
SLT have been publishing directories ever since late 1930s to its subscribers. The RAINBOW PAGES is the new classified Business Section of the directory which was introduced in 2002 and RAINBOW PAGES is known as the National Business Directory.
