[edit] RE: Please do not make personal attacks

yah i know i might not of created the freaking title card but that doesn't mean i didn't create the picture. You obviously don't know the difference between...whatever this is! Get off of my tail. Geez--Chikinpotato11 03:12, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New Project

Hello I am Driveus, you might recall me for making the camp lazlo episode page. I was wondering if you are interested in helping me set up a new project for cartoon network articles. This includes articles from Cartoon Cartoons, Cartoon Network Studios and of course Cartoon Network. Here is a link Wikipedia:WikiProject:Cartoon Network. Just asking. Driveus 05:10, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Chacalaca / hoaxes

BTW. In cleaning up after deleting nonsense/hoax/vandalism of Chacalaca, I removed all content contributed by Chacalaca. None of it was sourced. I could not find evidence that any of it was correct information. — ERcheck (talk) 15:32, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] When to report this user...

When should I report 24.3.247.88 to WP:AIV because this user has received six final warnings, but he/she hasn't been reported yet. The user hasn't vandalised or edited a page since 14:31, 15 March 2007, but I gave the IP another warning. Squirepants101 23:54, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

You could have reported him any time. I have now blocked the IP for a while. Some admins prefer more warnings than others, but six final warnings is overplenty. For this kind of vandalism it can be good to give a couple of diffs too because some of the edits superficially look like they could be legitimate. —Centrxtalk • 00:21, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi Squirepants101. I've seen you in a lot of the same articles that I've edited. Since you appear to be a bigtime CN watcher, what are your favorite shows? Black Kat 21:22, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Can I remove a userbox from someone's userpage?

Can I remove the Administrator2 userbox from Mewtwowimmer's userpage because he is not an administrator? He did not a request at WP:RFA. He also impersonated another admin by giving himself a barnstar signed by Glen S. I removed the barnstar from his talk page. Is that also okay?

Here is how he impersonated Glen S.. Squirepants101 20:30, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, you can remove clearly fraudulent userboxes like that one. The correct place to report this sort of thing is WP:ANI; I have copied your report there. CMummert · talk 21:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
You can post to WP:ANI whenever there is a complicated situation that requires administrator attention. If you use this syntax: {{tl|helpme}} then it "turns off" the helpme template. I did that when I responded to your request. It ends up looking like {{helpme}}. It works for any template. CMummert · talk 21:26, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
I've left the user a note requesting an explanation and that he not do this again. Newyorkbrad 21:27, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately I cannot log on at the moment but I will examine the suspected socks when I have the chance. You can always post them on WP:ANI too, so another admin can get to it sooner.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:53, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of the Oldest People

Squirepants101, in regards to your 'merging' of 'List of the Oldest People' with 'Oldest People,' first off, I don't think less than 24 hours is enough time to build a consensus. Second, I think most people agreed to a 'merge' but what was NOT clear was which way to 'merge' these articles. I thought you were going to 'merge back' the 'List of the Oldest People' article into the 'Oldest People' article. Note the 'Oldest People' article was constructed originally to be a collection of lists of the oldest people. I disagree with using the 'List of the Oldest People' moniker...it is NOT one list, it is MANY lists.→ R Young {yakłtalk} 23:36, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Further, the 'Oldest People' list has worked fine for a long time. the 'List of the oldest people' article was actually started around March 9 2007, with the purpose of mirroring the GRG lists of the oldest people ever (1 to 100 or whatever). As such it was not a reduplication because the "Oldest People" list just had a 115+ category (very top of the list). I think the idea of a longer list in a separate article was not all bad. I think killing the main article is wrong, as the main article's purpose is to provide a summary of the very oldest persons. Mr. Versieck messed up both by first changing the 'list of the oldest people' into something that mirrored the main 'oldest' list (some sort of ego thing, he likes to control everything, even if it is wrong). The result is that a lot of work by someone got tossed in the trash. I suggest a re-opening of the debate, as it was not clear which way to 'merge'...→ R Young {yakłtalk} 23:44, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for being reasonable. I have added a link on the "Oldest People" list #2 ("Among the Oldest Ever"). Note that the "Oldest People" list only has a top-23 and the other one has a top-80. To merge would create too much for one article. I also suggest we could pare the "Among the Oldest Ever" list to just a top-10 format. Comments?→ R Young {yakłtalk} 00:23, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I just want to be an administrator.

You do not know that I can see what you can't. I've been using Wikipedia for 2 years under 2 account names! I was Kathywimmer! I'm sorry! Mewtwowimmer 23:47, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mewtwowimmer's RfA

Its not currently transcluded on WP:RfA so its effectively dead. There's no particular reason to do anything more with the RfA page itself unless people start to add to it. If that did happen, I'll formally close it. Gwernol 00:10, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RfA

Hi there;User:Gwernol is only partially available at present. But he has removed the malformed RfA you mention, so no action is necessary.--Anthony.bradbury 00:26, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A comment that violates Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?

I have tagged the article List of characters in Ed, Edd n Eddy for clean-up because much of it is written in an in-universe perspective. I notified other users about this and here is the comment I received: I don't think there's any way you can write this article in any other fashion. Where are the references supposed to come from? Fan pages? The information in this article is based on osmosis from watching the show, by a group of fans who generally agree on what's published here. Sources would be nice, but they do not exist, other than the already linked to interview with Danny Antonucci, and the sparse character bios on cartoonnetwork.com. Fan pages are based on self research and often contain many errors. A dedicated group of fans have worked constantly to keep this article clean of fancruft, vandalism, and inaccuracies. If you can find sources for these facts, then by all means link to them. As such, I think the tag is in error, and I will remove it in 3 days if you can't produce any sources. Can someone remove a clean-up tag after only three days (if the article hasn't improved)? I know this violates several policies, but does the "osmosis from watching the show" violate anything? Finally, how should I reply to comments like this? Squirepants101 01:27, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

I suppose they could cite from the quotes in the TV show??? Final Fantasy VII cites directly from the quotes in the video game, and it's a WP:FA. Tuxide 01:48, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of Spongebob Squarepants episodes

I think this list was better without screenshots. If we plan to re-add them:

  • make a sepreate section for them.
  • add the screenshots but remove all tittle cards, combing them is silly.
  • just keep the article with the tittle cards, they make the article way better.

If you continue, I will put up this article for deleation or at least re-name it, so you, or anyone else will have no access to it. How I would want it was:

!! Episode # !! Episode Name !! Tittle card !! Screenshot !! Episode discription

Hope you do it. (Superjustinbros. 11:17, 7 April 2007 (UTC))
