[edit] 2031

This date isn't accurate, but what date is?

The dates 'March 7' and 'March 14' are accurate, but the year should be 2031. If you want an explanation, then read on. The date 'March 7' is obtained from SpongeBob's calendar, and 'March 14' is obtained from the fact that SpongeBob got the job six days after King Neptune froze Mr. Krabs (Which was March 8). In the movie, SpongeBob revealed that he had 374 employee of the month awards. The date in which the awards are given out is the 27th of every month, so SpongeBob would've got his job between December 28-31 1999. Based on these calculations, we can assume that the year that SpongeBob became manager of the Krusty Krab 2 (And also the year that the movie is set in) is in fact AD 2031. of course, the number of awards could have been an exaggeration.Lima bean of the north 06:23, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup

This article is a bit of a train wreck. Anyone want to clean it up a bit? 11/17/05

Amen. I don't know why I put it on my watchlist, but I did, and it's sort of grown into this tangled mass of... whatever. The point is, I'd been afraid to tackle it, and I can't say I like thinking about Spongebob Squarepants more than I have to... but perhaps it's time. I'll start working on it sometime this weekend. --NymphadoraTonks 22:54, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
I fixed the article. It's much better than before. The Republican 02:58, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
I don't know about that. It still sounds absolutely horrible. I'm going to edit some things... -Anon
Alright, I finished editting. Things should seem a little smoother now. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.185.128.70 (talkcontribs).

Squidward is funny when he gets mad. It's funny how Sponge Bob and Patrick keep annoying him. —Gm1121983 6:33 pm, 20 March 2006

[edit] You sure it's "Johannsen"?

Is it that, or is it "Eugene"? Yes, I know Eugene is Mr. Krabs's first name. Random the Scrambled 01:29, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Where did you hear of Eugene? -AMK152 22:47, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
    • YTV. Oh, and the middle name "Johannsen" was only used in a dream of Squidward's to make his name sound like that of a famous musician (namely Johann Sebastian Bach). Random the Scrambled 20:24, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Separate Subjects

I don't understand why the subjects Squidward'd Neigbors and Annoyances are separate from each other.

[edit] Talent

In the Spongebob episode "Artist Unkown", near the end of the episode Squidward "creates" a sculpture in his anger. I think this suggests he does have hidden talent.71.241.139.170 21:31, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article quality

Can we get more objective and factual writing? "Squidward's character [...] like the show, presents a rich social commentary. There is much to dislike about Squidward, and yet he is ultimately endearing." - interesting, but that doesn't actually say anything. This article presents a minute amount of facts and forces the reader to wade through tons of subjective and meaningless text. Can we get this heavily cut down? +Hexagon1 (t) 09:14, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Squidward's favorite song

Can someone confirm that Squidward's favorite song is Solitude in E Minor?

He always plays it on his clarinet. Bowsy (review me!) 10:13, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Squidward in a box

During the episode "Idiot Box," Squidward goes into the box that held the t.v. even though he is claustrophobic —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.53.62.67 (talk) 20:53, 24 December 2006 (UTC).

And? Bowsy (review me!) 10:12, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Squidward is a narcissist

Probably.

No original research. Bowsy (review me!) 19:58, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Squid's middle name

Whoever is saying that Squidward's middle name is Johanssen needs to provide a source if that really is his middle name. Bowsy (review me!) 19:59, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Squidward's Species Contradiction

Although it has been stated that Squidward is an octopus, there are at least two occasions in the cartoon that contradict this. When the Krusty Krab gets an order for a "Krusty Krab Pizza", Mr. Krabs says that their delivery SQUID (not delivery octopus) will bring it to them. Also, when Spongebob thinks that he's transformed Squidward into ice cream, he says that he will then change him back into SQUID form. Kryptid 18:21, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, this is unusual. Is there any verification to say Squidward is an octopus? Bowsy (review me!) 10:12, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
