Rusty's history
I was under the impression from the first episode that Rusty dreamed the whole wolves thing, and possibly also dreamed going to live with his grandmother, because when we woke up he was back at his aunt's house. I guess this could be interpreted as Rusty only having dreamt the explosion but I think the first way makes more sense in context. nichie 02:06, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

quote
The quote about "skinning a buck, run a trout line" is taken from a Hank Williams Jr. song. I'm glad I know that.
This line doesn't sound right to me:
"Some fans have spoken out about recently-aired "Squidbillies" episodes, and have called it a major step down for the Aqua Teen Hunger Force creators in terms of animation, basic storyline quality, and even basic concept quality."
Especially without any citations/links for where "some fans" have said this, it sounds like editorial commentary to me. Anyone else think it should come out?
- It was added by an anon with a history of vandalism in December of 2005, though admittedly the IP is shared by multiple users. That aside, I agree that it needs some sort of source. People have a habit of allowing that sort of statement to simply wash over them, especially when they agree with it. Even if it just said something like "Adult Swim forum members" (can't verify that particular citation myself, though), that would be fine; at least we'd know where to look. 72.200.136.66 08:14, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
a red neck view
I live in northen GA, if any one can say this is a bad show its me. and I here a lot of complaints that the show is lewd, poorly animated and soforth. but ill tell ya man, its dang funny. i see alot of my uncle mat in early. i dont know why people say its such a step down from ATHF. i think both shows are brilliant. if you yanks had ever hung out with southeners youd be laughin yer butts off at this show.
- I also live in Northern GA, but I don't think is the place for discussing the show, unless its in terms of the information contained on WP. Try the tv.com forums for discussion. SlightlyMentholated 19:49, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

- Actually there should be a section dealing with the popularity of this show and how it relates to southerners on here. Right now it's been said via "bumps" on AdultSwim (Oct 29, 2006) that the people down at Williams St. in Atlanta are very suprised at who is watching their show. They intended this show to be for a wide audience based on the premise of "making fun of rednecks is funny" but it's come to light that the biggest audience this show has is the "rednecks" they are trying to make fun of. This show is actually very topical, at times, to the southeast US and Georgia in general. One might even go as far to draw a parallel between this show and the popularity of Jeff Foxworthy who started in the south making jokes that many "southerners" not only found funny but could even relate to.

- I agree, the first statement in this thread is indeed relevant. Insight on the demographics are quite useful in that they prompt further research into the social dynamic involved with this show's viewership. I for one didn't know it was popular in the South and will try to keep an eye out for ratings figures/reports that support that. --Patrick80639 17:52, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
edit, edit, edit
I did a bunch of editing today, mostly cutting out spoilers for jokes, moving the quotes over to the wikiquote page where they belong and changing the characters section to a cast section since it was just a list of names and not descriptions.
If no one has any objections I intend to move the "Trucker hats" section over there as well.Bdve 14:01, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Good cleaning, there were some joke spoilers in there. Moving the trucker hats... I'm for it. Move them sumbitches. SlightlyMentholated 20:59, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm fer keepin' dem sumbitches where they be. Let a sleepin' dog lie! 2404 08:28, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Nov. 06 Edit.
Added some major content to the Wiki. Sorry but 3 paragraphs barely a wiki make.
I also cleaned up the diction, but need some grammar checking on the work I've done. What remained of all the multiple edits wasn't much and it was horrible.
Also went and reverted some missing stuff back to the Wiki. Sorry guys but editing doesn't mean you come in here one by one trimming everything out and leaving useless references and links in the remainder of the text.
I added about 6 hours of work to the Story as Presented section to help give people who want to know about the show a feel for what takes place. If no one comes through and slashes and burns what I added I will follow up with a Social section explaining the underlying points put forth in the show which my additions are meant to be a setup for. I've just run out of time for now.
Also the Trucker Hat section was totally removed and I had trouble finding it, and with all the other stuff I did, I wasn't going digging back several months to recover it. If someone wants to add it back then do. But as I said before, references were left in the original article for it when it, itself, was gone.
Please all I ask is before anyone edits stuff out make sure you go back through and clean up anything that references something appearing later in the article that you delete. It's stupid to see things say (more below) and that section is totally gone.

Sketch Quinn
02.28.2007- Hello, I'm "Sketch" Quinn. I am the supervising animator on Squidbillies. The man listed as supervising animator on your site currently is Sean Quinn, a 60 year old Irishman. Also, The character "Plumber Bubba" is not named "Plumber 'Sketch' Bubba" and he was played by Dave Willis. I might also point out that the animators qualify as crew and not cast, but hey, who cares? Thank you. I'm reachable at me @ sketchquinn.com.
- Thanks for the correction! Haven't had the time to verify or make a lot of the corrections, but was aware they were needed. Soon to get to the episode list as well.

trivia and hats sections
I would suggest that this sections along with some other stuff be mostly removed from this article and incorporated into their sorresponding episodes. Consider how the Simpsons episodes are done. the trivia and hats sections can easily go into the article for the episode they air in. It would help clean up this article, and help those articles to grow. --MJHankel 13:39, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
