[edit] Design

The Spyder Rodeo comes in a black, green or camouflage color scheme. It has a regulator with a gauge, drop forward and matte finish anodizing. It operates on CO2 or compressed air and has a low-pressure, in-line expansion chamber with fore grip, velocity adjuster and bottom-line setup. The Rodeo has a vertical, anti-double feed and a deluxe sight rail with beavertail. Its two-finger (or Double Trigger) aluminium trigger Semi-Automatic.

[edit] Strengths

Although the Spyder Rodeo falls under the category of low-end mechanical marker, many of its users have praised this marker for its impressive pressure consistency at various temperatures. It rarely chops, has good accuracy with the stock barrel and doesn't use up much air, according to most Rodeo owners. The Rodeo's regulator is mostly responsible for the marker's outstanding air consistency and accuracy. Also, the Rodeo's so called "super-light trigger pull"[1] lives up to the company's promises: most of its owners agree that it fires faster than most low-end mechanical markers.

[edit] Weaknesses

Other than the barrel and bolt (which are usually replaced soon after the purchase of most markers), the Rodeo has a few key weaknesses. Although it has a deluxe sight rail (with a beavertail said flimsy), the Rodeo's vertical feed would get in the way of any scopes or other sights attached to the rail, rendering it useless. There have been complaints that the trigger is too long and cannot be adjusted, although most other users claim that it is still faster and lighter than most other stock triggers. Contrary to one of the above strengths of the Rodeo, some users have claimed that it chops balls and others have complained about its regulator (questionable manufacturing). Also, it has been said that the Rodeo is rather loud and has a significant amount of kickback when fired, although both these problems can usually be settled by purchasing a new barrel and bolt.
