Photo showing stagnation point and attached vortex at an un-faired wing-root to fuselage junction on a Schempp-Hirth Janus C glider. Flow pattern was marked by red dye in a soap & water solution that was sprayed out the cockpit window and allowed to dry, while the glider was flown at a constant airspeed and high angle of attack.
I took this photo.
