I do not understand the difference between this tag and Template:PD-self, and when I should use this rather than that one. Wondering simply, -- Infrogmation 23:12, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. I was wondering because on Category:User contributed public domain images, where PD-self links to, a notice says "Consider putting an image in an existing or a new sub-category". Given that all the existing sub-categories are meant for just two users, perhaps that message should be modified. Cheers, -- Infrogmation 07:15, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
