[edit] Simon Springett

I've nominated the article Simon Springett for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Simon Springett satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Simon Springett. Don't forget to add four tildes (˜˜˜˜) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Simon Springett during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. [edit] Hi Flyer

Hi,

I am a newbie but I think you were prematiure in deleting "Hi Flyer" using the speedy deletion process - as I had put a justification for keeping it in the talk page as indicated by the "proosed speedy deletion" tag.

Was this an error?

Regards

Simon

Hi Springnuts: do you have in notable and verifiable sources for the national/international concert tour? If so, ask me and I will undelete the article and add the references. Thanks. —Mets501 (talk) 02:33, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

OK thanks for your reply, I can't find enough to satisfy the notability police at this time; I will make a note to re-write after this autumn's UK tour when there is something to quote.

Thanks for your help

Simon

No problem! See you around. —Mets501 (talk) 21:29, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Morning Star (Morning Star Trust)

<<concern from Garion96 (talk) 01:46, 9 September 2006 about use of copyright material sent here in error - wrong user >>

Sorry about that, I must have clicked on the wrong name there. I reverted the article back to your original stub. Garion96 (talk) 10:16, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ethelweard

No problem and apologies if my comment seemed at all snippy. I suppose that the article should be moved, but I don't really have any brilliant ideas on where it should be moved to. If you have any thoughts on the matter, please leave a note at Talk:Ethelweard. All the best ! Angus McLellan (Talk) 17:54, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Negative Syndicate

It's not nonsense. I just forgot to say "MAJOR ARTICLE SPLIT" in my first edit summary. Check the history at Gougou Sentai Boukenger. You'll see what I did. Ryūlóng 22:04, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Negative Syndicate

I don't think it's nonsense - the link in the first paragraph seems to imply it's part of some Japanese tv show. Whether it's notable in the first place, and whether it needs to be a seperate article I couldn't say. Dave 22:04, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Ooops, double edit! Dave 22:05, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
S'okay. It is part of Boukenger. The main article was well over 80 kb in length. I've been cutting down and making daughter articles. Ryūlóng 22:06, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
No problem at all, partly my fault. Ryūlóng 20:59, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AFD

The article you listed for deletion: Want It, had either been removed from the log or wasn't listed correctly. I've added it to today's log. Cheers, Yomanganitalk 14:23, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Saryn Hooks

Third nom, eh? I hope you have something new to say in it... - CrazyRussian talk/email 22:30, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

  • I fixed your nomination in the log, but you should go back and add a reason. Cheers, Yomanganitalk 22:38, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
You should talk to CrazyRussian to see if he will re-open it or alternatively take his advice and not attempt to overturn the previous AFD (discuss it on the talk page perhaps?) Yomanganitalk 22:52, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Saryn Hooks

I didn't close anything of yours. To start an AfD does not take fifteen minutes. Feel free to start AfD #4 - you're not precluded. - CrazyRussian talk/email 00:10, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NEXUS Trust

A tag has been placed on NEXUS Trust, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why NEXUS Trust is really notable, you can contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on Talk:NEXUS Trust, explaining how NEXUS Trust is notable. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.Seraphimblade 10:17, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

I cannot undelete or delete articles, only nominate them, as I am not an administrator. After placing the nomination, an administrator would have reviewed the article, and it would be he or she who makes the decision to delete or not. However, anyone (including the article's author) may contest a page's deletion. If you would like to do so, place an entry at the deletion review page and your concerns will be reviewed. If the consensus is that the article should be undeleted and restored, an administrator will do so. You may also wish to read WP:BIO and WP:CORP to get an idea why the reviewing administrator may have agreed that the content did not satisfy notability. Seraphimblade 19:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Eurofighter

Hello. Thank you for letting me know about your talk page edit. As I said on the talk page, £19 billion is for the UK's 232 aircraft, not the entire project cost. The page is about the whole project, so I've edited it accordingly. Mark83 17:01, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WP:AIV

Hi, I saw your note that you hope your post at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism was the correct way to report a vandal -- well, it was! However, we do need to warn users before we block them, except in certain situations where the vandalism is blatant (a very large amount of vandalism or particularly obscene or attacking). Any user can do this -- just add a message to the user's talk page. See Wikipedia:Vandalism#Dealing with vandalism for more information. I've warned 198.59.99.217 for you. Thanks for your help! -- Renesis (talk) 23:28, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Survival manual

Please don't delete. I think it will be a good article (eventually). Thanks :) Pnw.hiker 21:32, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Help yourself; I shamelessly stole the toolbox from Fuhghettaboutit. -FisherQueen 18:46, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your marking of J-Status for Speedy Deletion

A google search comes up with this boyband, and their website, they are a legit Boyband and can be considered notable, perhaps making this article a stub would be better. The deletion isn't required. ScorpO 00:32, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Well I guess I was beaten, but i felt this article was could be turned into a legitimate article. Oh well. ScorpO 00:34, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Don't feel bad about it, you only marked it, not deleted it. Have a good christmas, Regards, ScorpO 00:45, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Beckwith Company

Your too fast for me. Give me a chance before you REDIRECT!! --Ludvikus 16:03, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion of page

Yes, you are correct. Thank you.

[edit] Speedy deletion nomination of Umakant Sharma

Hey, i recently removed your speedy deletion nomination of Umakant Sharma, as this indivual has received coverage from CNN.COM. I am not the orignial author of the article, nor realy have any interest in it, other than expanding it. YOu readded the speedy nomination tag claiming that it had been removed by the author. If you pay attention closley, you will see that this individual passes WP:BIO. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 14:39, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Hey, just wanted to make sure my message did not come across as assinine! Speedy deletions are an important part of Wikipedia and I have nomianted my fair share! Your work is much appreciated, keep it up! -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 14:46, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion nomination of Kepware

Hello, I am a student at USM in Portland Maine. I study computer sciences and have often found useful information and example source code from Kepware. This article is is no way intended as an advertisment for Kepware and I believe that it is non-biased in nature and in no way promotes Kepware over any other software company. I used wikipedia all the time and have seen many similar articles, which encouraged me to create one about another software company that I knew about. You can find similar articles about Wonderware and Rockwell Automation to name a few which I have included links to their wikipedia pages on this page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by USMstudent09 (talkcontribs) 00:36, 29 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Uriella speedy deletion tag

Hey there, I was wading through the nonsense speedy backlog. I have removed your speedy tag from Uriella as I don't believe it qualifies as nonsense. Confusing, yes, (and odd as well) but I think that's due to a translation problem of some sort. I haven't gone through all the sources (many are in German) but I think it's perhaps a cleanup, wikify, then see if it merits an article. Please let me know if you're seeing something I'm missing. Cheers. Dina 01:23, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
