Springport is a town in Henry County, Indiana, United States. The population was 174 at the 2000 census.

Springport is located at 40°2′49″N, 85°23′34″W (40.046937, -85.392905)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 174 people, 63 households, and 53 families residing in the town. The population density was 516.8/km² (1,309.1/mi²). There were 65 housing units at an average density of 193.1/km² (489.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.28% White, 0.57% Pacific Islander, and 1.15% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.45% of the population.

There were 63 households out of which 34.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.3% were married couples living together, 9.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.3% were non-families. 11.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.76 and the average family size was 2.91.

In the town the population was spread out with 27.0% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 27.0% from 45 to 64, and 10.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 114.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.8 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $43,125, and the median income for a family was $32,188. Males had a median income of $39,167 versus $32,813 for females. The per capita income for the town was $17,217. About 8.5% of families and 9.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.0% of those under the age of eighteen and 17.4% of those sixty five or over.
