[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:SpongeBob Wikipedian.gif)
|
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:SpongeBob Wikipedian.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
Also, please do not re-add the image to {{User SpongeBobWikiproject}}, as this image is not under a free license but used under terms of fair use here on Wikipedia. Per terms of Wikipedia:Fair use criteria item #9, the use of such images on templates is proscibed. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Thanks, --Durin 06:48, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:8 2 99.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:8 2 99.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:04, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding the SpongeBob WikiProject
Attention, member of Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. This project is up for deletion at this page. ForestH2 has become a sockpuppeter and is being blocked from Wikipedia. So, he will most likely not return. (along with his sockpuppets.) The board of the project has been very controversal. I am removing the board (as it is contoversal and wont really matter) as a result. This project can improve if it can undergo clean-up (which i am in the process of) But, most of all, it needs to be kept. So, I hope you can support this project from its time of inactivity and save it from deletion, then we can continue to improve SpongeBob SquarePants articles. I would hope that you would support with me, but please voice your opinion by clicking here: Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Wikiproject SpongeBob SquarePants. Thank-you. -AMK152 17:04, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:TeaattheTreedome.gif
|
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:TeaattheTreedome.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ResurgamII 01:03, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Grandma's Kisses.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Grandma's Kisses.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:06, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:Battle_for_Bikini_Bottom.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Battle_for_Bikini_Bottom.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] SpongeBob logo source
Hi! Do you remember where you found the image Image:SpongeBob SquarePants.gif? I'm planning to vectorize it, and just thought it would be appropriate to mention the original source if I do. Thanks in advance and happy editings, –Mysid(t) 14:10, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title Cards
- I noticed you uploaded title cards for the upcoming SpongeBob episodes. I was wondering, where did you get them? Are the episodes somewhere online in English? --AMK152 (Talk • Contributions) 00:05, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was wondering that too. Do you have friends in Europe that have the episodes? --LoopholeG2s 22:08, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have the episodes on DVD. --SpongeSebastian 02:20, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- How'd you get them on DVD? --72.67.69.166 05:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- What do you mean? I bought the Season 4 Volume 2 DVD box set at Walmart.--SpongeSebastian 23:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, they released volume 2 already? I didn't know that. --72.67.69.166 00:23, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- Why doesn't All That Glitters have an actual title card, not just a picture?
