Sport Canada

Sport Canada is a branch of the Department of Canadian Heritage and is responsible for four problem areas: sport programs, sport policy, distribution of alcohol at sporting events and major games and hosting.
The Minister of State (Sport) is directly responsible for Sport Canada and reports to the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
The current Secretary of State for Sport is Helena Guergis.
