Sporocarp

Sporocarp can refer to any of several structures whose primary function is the production and release of spores.
- Sporocarp (fungi): in fungi, the sporocarp (also known as fruiting body) is a multicellular structure on which spore-producing structures, such as basidia or asci, are borne.
- Sporocarp (ferns): in ferns of the order Salviniales, sporocarp refers to various kinds of specialized spore-producing tissues found on the sporophyte.
