Spoonbender

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spoonbender are an alternative rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Australians Andrea Tesoriero and Natahl Ball, Korean Z "Bob" Teoh and American Sara Eggen.[1]

Drawing their inspiration from a wide variety of musical sources, Spoonbender approach their songwriting with a sense of humour that shows through in their live gigs. Their first album Hugs For Pug is due for release in 2006, during a mid-year spate of pub-gigging that culminates with an appearance at Victoria's Hurdie Gurdie Music Festival. There is some talk of a pre-album EP release, possibly in June. More information on this can be found at the Spoonbender news site.
