Botín de guerra (English: Spoils of War) is a 2000 Argentine documentary film directed and written by David Blaustein with Luis Alberto Asurey. The film premiered on 11 April 2000 in Buenos Aires . David Blaustein won two awards for Best Director and a 2nd and 3rd.

The second film of David Blaustein is a documentary diving into recent Argentine history. Hunters of utopias put their glance in the illusions, convictions and frustrations of those young people to whom Juan Domingo Perón first described as “wonderful”, and after “idiots”: the Montoneros. The military is concentrated in a more recent history, the one of the birth and growth of association, next to the frightful partner-political phenomenon that gave reason them of being: the systematic appropriation of the lengthy-disappeared children of on the part of the last military dictatorship. That after kidnapping, torturing and to assassinate the parents, it gave to his babies in adoption to members and “friends” of the regime. The history of the Abuelas is exposed with detail.
Beyond the technical correction and of the emotion of the real protagonists, Botin de guerra does not escape the certain formal routine, covering few ringleaders of uniform, that consecrated impunity of thousands of assassins and torturers.
