Split Femur Recordings is an independent record label based in the West Midlands, UK. It was founded in 2006 by Alan Daly, who creates music under the artistic moniker of Emvelope Nine which is also released on the label. It is dedicated to releasing music of the electronic and experimental kind.
The label's first release was 'The Yellow Square' by Staffordshire based musician Planivaar. It was released on March 19th 2007, marking an important time in the label's life.
