Just a suggestion, but if you tag a vandal like a serious problem, even adding grulbling remarks like 'again', (s)he's likely to revel in the attention and may well feel important and hance be encouraged to repeat-offend; in my experience, we have a better change of discouraging vandalism by minimalizing it, or possibly putting it down in a dry style, something like "rv uninspired vandalism" (may sounds like a tempting challenge, but most vandals really are just brainless nobodies).
