[edit] Edit wars

A certain member - hotwiki - seems to like embarking on childish, pathetic edit wars; as he's previously shown he is over-protective of pages he has created - a fact known to certain moderators, who I've been informed have been monitoring his edits.

So I suggest a vote as to which template members prefer.

I prefer example #1; the detailed version, giving links about releases, group members and related articles. The same temps as used on several featured articles - such as The Beatles, Duran Duran and Iron Maiden to name just a few.

The opposing view is example #2, that a smaller temp giving links to just a few link is prefered - as seen on Mariah Carey and Kylie's page.

Example #1:

Opinions? Rimmers 15:21, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

The original version is better, it's not really big it would not damage the article size, it doesn't look cluttered, the majority of templates are like this look at the templates of the big artists Template:Michael Jackson, Template:Madonna, Template:Kylie, Template:Mariah Carey2.

Embarking on childish, pathetic wars, Rimmers If I let you do all the things you want to add, what would just happen to the articles?. Certain moderators monitoring my edits?? lol who if there's one or more I already got 2 warnings or a message.--2hot4u2handle 15:31, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

The majority of templates are not like example 2.
Out of the 60 featured articles in the music section, 31 of them do not have a template (used in this context). Of the ones that do, 82% of them use exactly the same or a slight variation of example 1. Only 18% - a total of 5 (compared to 23) - use a template similar to or the same as example 2.
Thats as clear as you can get it. Rimmers 15:54, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Can't you just wait until when other members posted their opinions and comments, there's only few featured articles about musicians so how can you say the majority of templates are like your version. And the color border/shade is just useless in my opinion--2hot4u2handle 16:13, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
