I can't find any relevant Google hits whatsoever. This was tagged and bagged as a speedy once before. - Lucky 6.9 06:35, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Since this is an indigenous Japanese church, most of the sources are under this Japanese name: "イエス之御霊教会" and mostly written in Japanese. --Jose77 06:42, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Ah, this explains much. That's probably why another user tagged it as a speedy. Thanks for the clarification. - Lucky 6.9 07:28, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Christian?

What is the basis for categorizing this group as Christian? According to the article, they believe that the dead can earn salvation through "vicarious" water baptism (i.e. salvation by someone else's works). Christianity has always taught that salvation is unearned and only the result of God's unmerited favor and the Atonement of Jesus Christ period. Therefore, salvation by human works is contrary to Christianity.Jlujan69 04:53, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
