Spirit is a Black Gospel music channel on XM Satellite Radio. XM describes the channel as "Taking It To The Highest" and primarily airs black gospel music. The channel was originally launched and programmed by Radio One, Inc., but has since reverted to XM Radio.
Artists include Kirk Franklin , Yolanda Adams , Fred Hammond , Tye Tribbet, Kurt Carr Singers, Angela Spivey, Colorado Mass Choir. The channel airs on XM33 and on DirectTV Channel 827.
The channel was added on February 1, 2004 with an entire new theme. Prior to that Spirit was on XM63.
