Spinix Linux is a Linux distribution whose full installation fits into 500MB. It is fit for use on older computers with limited resources.

The system is made up of base core, with optional components that can be installed and uninstalled on the fly without affecting the overall OS. This GNU/Linux distributions strictly follows the FHS (Filesystem Hierarchy Standard.)

It is distributed as an ISO image. The whole installation CD fits on 1 disc. As of 6 August 2004 it is only available at the official site (see below). If your computer cannot boot from CD, there are a boot disk and a root disk images available at the official site.
