Spike Lavery is a fictional character on the soap opera All My Children. He the son of Kendall Hart and Ryan Lavery. He has a paternal half-sister Emma McDermott. The character is played by Ava and Julia Farrar.

Spike was conceived in September 2005, during this time Ryan was thought to be dead. Spike was suppose to be the child of Ryan and his then wife Greenlee Smythe. Greenlee had previously been pregnant, but was told that she couldn't carry a child to term following her miscarriage. Kendall wanted to help her best friend so she decide to offer to carry the child. But the night before Kendall was to be inseminated there was a blackout in Pine Valley. It was later revealed that the blackout were caused by Zach Slater. Kendall went to the doctor's office to make sure that everything was going to be ok for the next day. She learned that the Greenlee's eggs couldn't be used and that Ryan's samples would not last long enough to get Greenlee and get more. So Kendall and the doctor decided to use her own egg.

Kendall decided to keep this truth from Greenlee. Ryan soon returned to Pine Valley and breifly reconciled with Greenlee. Ryan learned of the child and Ryan, Greenlee and Kendall soon learned that it was a boy. But Greenlee soon learned that the baby was Kendall's and not hers. Greenlee left town. Kendall and Ryan at this time weren't sure that they wanted to even be parents. But soon decided not to terminate the pregnancy.

As the months went on, Kendall's doctor pushed Kendall to give the boy up for adoption. Kendall was all set to do this but Ryan was determined to raise the child on his own if need be. Kendall decided to leave town to have her baby. Kendall's then ex-husband tracked Kendall down. Kendall and Zach made up and were married again. Kendall soon decided that she wanted to name her son, naming him Spike. Kendall and Zach returned to Pine Valley. But Kendall was in an accident cause by J.R. Chandler. Kendall went into a coma. It was too soon for Spike to be born. Zach did everything he could the keep the doctor's from taking the baby. Spike Lavery was born on May 31, 2006 by c-section.

Spike Lavery currently lives with his mother Kendall Hart and his step-father Zach Slater. But Ryan has visitation with Spike. When with Ryan, Spike often spend time with Ryan, Ryan's girlfriend Annie McDermott and his half-sister Emma McDermott.

Spike is the second grandchild of Erica Kane and her only grandson.
