I. Spiewak & Sons, Inc., commonly known as Spiewak, is a New York-based apparel company founded in 1904. Originally a maker of sheepskin lined work jackets, Spiewak evolved into a major manufacturer of military jackets during WWI and WWII. The company, family owned for five generations, is a leading manufacturer of uniform outerwear, Hi-Vizability safety apparel, EMS protective gear, USPS uniform outerwear, as well as airlines, rental car companies and thousands of others. Spiewak's police jackets are worn by NYPD, Chicago, and LAPD policemen. Their garments protect American Airlines outdoor personel, Avis and Budget Rent A Car employees, NY Transit and Port Authority, DSNY, etc. Spiewak uniform products include VizGuard safety wear, WeatherTech waterproof/breathable outerwear, Titan outerwear and Golden Fleece industrial outerwear.
