Spider One
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Spider One (born Michael David Cummings on August 25, 1968 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, U.S.A.) is a musician; the lead singer of the Boston-based heavy metal band, Powerman 5000; and owner of Megatronic Records. In 1990, he dropped out of art school and bought a cheap 4-track home studio and drum machine. Working under the title "MC Spider" he gained local success and in 1991, he built Powerman 5000 and took up the name "Spider." Although best known as Spider or Spider One, he is also mistakenly called "Spider Zombie" (due to the fact that he is the younger brother of heavy metal artist Rob Zombie) and "Spyder".
