Spišská Nová Ves District (okres Spišská Nová Ves) is a district in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia. Until 1918, the district was mostly part of the Hungarian county of Spiš, apart from a small area around the municipalities of Mlynky and Hnilec which formed part of the county of Gemer a Malohont.
