Radial-type spillway gates for the Gardiner Dam on the Saskatchwan River, near Elbow, Saskatchwan Canada. Note people standing on the slab at extreme left of picture. Highway traffic passes over the bridge over the gates. These gates control the level of Lake Difenbaker and bypass water around the Couteau Creek hydroelectric generating station. Photo taken June 2001. Released for PD.
