From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello Spectatrix, welcome to Wikipedia. You might like to start by reading the tutorial and introducing yourself at the new users page. For ideas of what to put on your user page, see Wikipedia:User page.

If you have any questions, you can ask at the help desk or on my talk page. Two useful tips are that you can sign your name using four tildes (~~~~) and you can preview your changes before you save using the show preview button. You can regularly find new tips on the Community Portal. I look forward to reading your great articles and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. :) Angela. 16:20, 8 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Lir, "crimes", RFA

User:Lir is generally considered "trouble". See:

User:Plato is likewise trouble, spending far too much time with his little gang of trolls, listed at User:Plato/Red faction. Finally, User:IndigoGenius obviously falls well below the generally accepted vague bare-bones absolute minimum requirement levels for adminship. Lir+company are causing trouble; this is bad and should be stopped. - Fennec (はさばくのきつね) 11:21, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)

It's just not true. Their claims tend to be grossly exaggerated, unsubstantiated, and are often completely false. In those cases where there is some merit to their complaint (such as the occasional swear word): it should be noted that there are not policies against the act, and the plaintiffs are equally guilty. I have been working on:

Thanks to both of you for the links and information. I feel it more appropriate for me to observe this conflict in progress and come to my own conclusions, rather than trying to sort through edit histories and commentaries, so for now I shall remain of neutral opinion in this matter. Spectatrix

[edit] Akashic Records

Thanks...I had another look at the article, and I think that if the first two paras under "Specific Accounts of the Akashic Records" were moved to the top of the article, it would improve things greatly. Basically the problem is that there is no one-sentence definition of the records at the top. Good luck with your work. Jumbo 14:15, 30 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] We Love Katamari

If you read the goals and policies of the Wikibooks site, you would know that games guides are being removed regularly - because the site is not for game guides. Wikibooks is for books that can be used in educational situations, as textbooks. You'd be hard pressed to explain how a game guide is a viable textbook. Janizary 20:42, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] European Witchcraft

I saw your note at the top of the talk page; while I didn't provide much of the information requested, I did add a lot of a historical timeline from my textbook. I do have a lot of that information but I wasn't sure where to put it; I figured step one was to make it more encyclopedic. Feel free to check out my new version of the page.
