I am Spebi, an encyclopedic editor from Canberra, Australia. I created my Wikipedia account on 30 January 2007. This wasn't too long ago, however, I do learn things quickly and have picked up how things work here at Wikipedia.

[edit] Why I'm here

I'm here because I had a school assignment near the end of last year, and noticed the article I was reading had many terrible mistakes and the style of writing was dreadful. I cleaned up the article (on an IP address), completed the assignment and forgot to register an account.

Then in January 2007, I discovered Wikipedia again and registered my account. My first edit under a registered account, strangely, was at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, requesting for protection on Habbo Hotel be removed. (diff)

Since then I have made over 500+ edits to Wikipedia, created one page and gained substantial HTML and wikimarkup knowledge.

Lately I have been keeping a close eye on my watchlist, as the amount of unreferenced, POV and suspicious content is rising.
