Spencer Dock

Spencer Dock (Irish: Duga Spencer) is a location in Dublin, Ireland. Most of the 51 acre (206,000 m²) site was owned by Córas Iompair Éireann but it has sold this for development purposes as the freight yards that were located there are no longer required.
The Spencer Dock development is the biggest and most ambitious urban regeneration project in Ireland's history and will include luxury waterside apartments, distinctive offices, retail, a linear park and local amenities for leisure activities.
Spencer Dock is served by the new Docklands railway station temporarily located on Sheriff Street at the north end of the site which commenced commuter services on the Western Commuter line in March 2007. Under the Transport 21 initiative, due for completion by 2015, the station will move to a permanent location in Spencer Dock itself and connect to the DART network via the Interconnector tunnel and to the extended LUAS red-line.
The new National Conference Centre will also be located in Spencer Dock.
