Speed dreaming

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Speed dreaming is the collaborative process of bringing passionate, creative individuals with visions or ideas about a topic together with illustrators and artists. Participants, in a group, organize thoughts and 'dreams' into sets of aspirations. Then, collaboratively with the artists and illustrators, participants translate the best aspirations into images; images that can then be referenced and aid in making ideas a reality.

[edit] Origins

Speed dreaming was inspired by Speed dating and Speed geek processes. It was used in the TorontoTransitCamp event in Toronto,Canada which brought together BarCamp participants and local bloggers in a groundbreaking community engagement to think up new approaches and designs for the TTC's website.
