Special Schools

These can have a number of meanings in different countries
- General meaning: Schools for the mentally handicapped and those with special needs, only attended by those sectors
- Exceptions: Czech Republic and Slovakia: Schools for Roma, sometimes integrated with, sometimes separate from normal special schools. Teach a syllabus suitable for retarded or slow children, no Roma cultural or social syllabus included.
Note: this policy is also in use in other east bloc nations.
