"Speakin' Spanish" was the first song to leak from Angela Via's 2007 album Ready to Fly. the song first appeared on Angela's Myspace page in May 2006. Its intentional leak and later commercial release make "Speakin' Spanish" the unofficial "heater track" for Ready to Fly. The song is a mix of the R&B and reggaeton musical styles.
