[edit] Nailbourne

Thanks for your work on Nailbourne, should it be "Nail Bourne"?

There are web sites calling it Nailbourne and others Nail Bourne, we could add a comment on the page and a redirect from one page to the other. Olive Oil 11:26, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Wye Downs

A tag has been placed on Wye Downs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Who Cares about a strecth old chalk downland

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Owainbut 17:22, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RE Wye Downs

i will give you two weeks to make it better

Wye Downs is not just any old stretch of chalk downland! It is a National Nature Reserve owned by English Nature. It is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is a popular beauty spot. It is easily one of the most important stretches of chalk downland in the country with 19 species of orchid with the largest colony of Late Spider Orchids in the country (the second rarest UK orchid in the country after the Lady's Slipper Orchid). The Lady Orchid also grows at the site (another of one of the UK's rarest species). It should also be noted that Wye Downs is a popular beauty spot and the Devil's Kneading Trough has been said to be one of the most complete examples of a chalk coombe in the UK.

If this is a good enough reason to not delete the article then I would like to be able to expand it with the above information and more plus images, references etc. ThankyouSpagus
